Hollyoaks autumn special: gas explosion at school endangers lives

Will Mac finally get what he deserves?

Now we all love a Hollyoaks special, and this autumn they are more than making sure we are staying glued to our TV screens.

Things will get off to a bang as this year’s stunt is a huge gas explosion at the school.

Boom!

The explosion will see the lives of several characters in danger with possible death at the end of it all, but for who?

Viewers have seen Neeta spend the last few weeks petrified after the furious pub landlord discovered her affair with teenager Hunter McQueen, putting the student in hospital.

With his jealousy at an all time high, Mac heads to the school.

After a violent rage leads to damaging the school gas boiler, Mac confronts Neeta with a sketch that Hunter has drawn of her and sets fire to it.

A gas leak that has been caused by the damaged boiler has been silently spreading around the school and is ignited by the burning artwork.

Leading to a huge fireball engulfing the school – just as a big old prize-giving ceremony is taking place.

With pupils and teachers attending the ceremony in memory of Jade Albright, as well as the Osbourne family, it seems that casualties will be inevitable.

From students Alfie Nightingale, Tom Cunningham, Peri Lomax, Yasmine Maalik and Lily Drinkwell to teachers including Sally St Claire, Louis Loveday, and Neeta Kaur it looks like there could be many injured as they all find themselves trapped in the burning building.

We always knew school was bad for your health – but does anyone survive?

Fans of the show are excited and ready for all the action,

Hollyoaks getting boring? We don’t think that’s happening anytime soon.
