Hollyoaks viewers outraged as Darren Osborne cheats on wife Nancy!

Was it a one-off kiss or will it lead to an affair?

Darren Osborne cheated on wife Nancy in last night’s first look episode of Hollyoaks – and the fans were NOT happy about it!

Darren locked lips with old mate Mandy Richardson and they shared a steamy kiss – but will their snog be a one-off or will it lead to a full-blown affair?

The unexpected kiss happened just weeks before Mandy is due to walk down the aisle with fiance Luke (who also happens to be Darren’s mate).

Mandy had left Luke alone in the house – and he took the opportunity to cover her wedding dress with chocolate.

Mandy immediately assumed that meant he didn’t want to marry her at all – which seems a fairly reasonable assumption to make. Though viewers know that Luke is trying to put off their wedding until he can track down his current wife Scarlett – who Mandy doesn’t know about – and get divorced.

Darren knows the truth about Scarlett, so he tried to reassure poor Mandy that Luke does really love her.

But he comforted his old mate so well that one thing led to another and the pair shared a steamy kiss!

And boy were the viewers shocked! In fact even the official Hollyoaks Twitter account screamed: “WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?!”

The fans took to social media to complain that Mandy belonged with Luke, and Darren with Nancy.

“I am so angry,” wrote one viewer. While another wrote: “Not over Darren and Mandy kissing in tonights ep.”

“omg what just happened?!” asked another bewildered fan.

Even Ashley Taylor-Dawson, who plays Darren, wrote that “things are getting out of hand”!

But some fans said they’d clocked the chemistry between the pair before now and the kiss had been “coming for a while”.

And others seemed to be delighted with this latest twist in the Landy romance.

“Darren & Mandy waheeeeeey,” wrote one viewer.
