Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has signed up to appear on I’m A Celebrity, according to a new report.
The actress – who plays Fizz Brown in the ITV soap – will reportedly fly to Australia for the launch show on November 19 after soap bosses managed to reschedule her filming commitments.
A source told The Sun: “Jennie’s been on the wishlist for some time and, after a lot of persuasion, she’s agreed to take part this year.
“Corrie have given it the green light because they’ve been able to reschedule her storyline filming – so everything has finally fallen into place.”

Jennie has played Fizz since 2001 and is one of the cobbles most beloved characters so her inclusion in the jungle is sure to delight viewers.
“She’s bubbly and great fun, so the hope is she’ll be a great addition,” the source added.
“The producers are over the moon to get her.”
Jennie, who also owns Annie’s, a Manchester restaurant with husband Chris Farr, welcomed her first child last year – a boy named Albert.
It was recently reported that fellow soap star Jamie Lomas has joined the jungle lineup after leaving Hollyoaks.
The actor – who played badboy Warren Fox in the Channel 4 show – was snapped up by producers hoping he would catch the eye of one of the single ladies in camp.

A source told The Sun: “Jamie is a good-looking single guy so they are hoping sparks will fly with one of the single girls in the camp.
“There will be plenty of gorgeous girls in there he could end up hitting it off with.”
