I’m A Celeb star BACKTRACKS on Iain Lee comments

Hang on, what do you really mean?

| Updated:

Jamie Lomas – along with fellow campmates Amir Khan, Becky Vardy and Dennis Wise – took a lot of heat in the jungle this year after supposedly ‘bullying’ Iain Lee.

The quartet were seen having conversations debating whether Iain was ‘playing a game’ to influence public opinion.

And they were critical of his performances in some Bushtucker Trials.

However, since leaving the jungle, Jamie has changed his stance somewhat.

The whole camp was brought together for a one-off special which airs tonight, called Coming Out, where they all talked about their experience in the jungle.

And Jamie’s comments on the programme seem to go against what he appeared to believe when he was inside the camp.

Jamie says: “I don’t think Iain was playing a game to be honest. He’s a nice guy and we became good mates in there.

“The last night was just a really special evening with me, Iain and Toff. I think it’s been completely blown out of proportion.”

And for his part, despite often appearing isolated from his other campmates, Iain is also keen to stress that he didn’t feel bullied.

Iain says: “There was no bullying going on.

“Let’s quash this rumour once and for all. Bullying is a very serious thing. It’s a huge word. There was no bullying whatsoever.”

And for another campmate, their world came crashing down upon their exit after they discovered they had been accused of bullying.

In scenes that will air on the spin-off show, Rebekah Vardy will be seen in tears crying into the arms of her father after she discovers she’s been portrayed in a bad light.

Appearing on Loose Women earlier, Becky vehemently denied the accusations, saying: “It was one of the most horrific experiences of my life. To be told what was in the media about me.”

It sounds like tonight’s show will certainly make for some explosive viewing – we can’t wait!

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Coming Out airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
