Many people didn’t expect much from Stanley Johnson when he signed up to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, but he turned out to be a right old laugh.
And now, it sounds like Channel 5 bosses are hoping to mimic that success by signing up someone very close to the former politician for the forthcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Hold on to your hats, folks, as there could be another Johnson on the way…
According to The Sun Online, Stanley’s daughter – and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson’s younger sister – Rachel Johnson will be going into the house when the show starts again on 2nd January.
To mark 100 years since women in the UK got the vote, the new CBB will start off with just women in the house, with men being added later.
And it’s said that show bosses are hoping to sign up some true characters for the series.
As a member of the charismatic Johnson family – not to mention a highly successful journalist – Rachel, 52, is an ideal candidate.

A source told the news site: “Bosses want this year’s show to be quite different. There are lots of intelligent, cultured people going in, all with strong opinions.
“People have been chosen because they might clash — but hopefully, there’ll be heated debate and discussion rather than just screaming and storming out. Rachel is a great signing and fits the bill.”
If the report is true and mum-of-three Rachel has signed up for Celebrity Big Brother, we dread to think what her son Oliver will make of it all.
When his grandad Stanley was in the Australian jungle, the 21-year-old admitted that it could be a little toe-curling at times.

He told The Mirror Online: “He seems to get on well with [the other contestants]. But sometimes I do have a little cringe.
“I don’t want him to be too weird. He’s quite intellectual and sometimes the other contestants aren’t as intellectual and don’t get it.”
Other stars rumoured to be entering the CBB house this series include transgender newsreader India Willoughby, Tory MP Charlotte Leslie and Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson.
Who knows – maybe next year we’ll get BoJo himself!
