Soap star Danny Miller may be most familiar to TV viewers as Aaron on Emmerdale – but he’s about to reach a new level of fame as himself on I’m A Celebrity 2021.
Danny, 30, has recently become a dad for the first time with fiancée Steph Jones. Their son Albert was born at the end of October.
And even though the actor has been trolled for his decision to take part in the ITV series, Danny ultimately decided he couldn’t turn down the opportunity of a lifetime and be part of the I’m A Celebrity 2021 cast line up.
Who is I’m A Celebrity 2021 cast member Danny Miller?
Danny Miller was born in Stockport and first joined ITV’s Emmerdale as a teenager in 2008.
He was a regular on the soap until 2011, announcing he would be leaving the following spring.
However, he returned in 2014 and has been a central character ever since.

His character Aaron Dingle has been a fixture in the show’s top storylines, earning him a host of awards.
Danny has won gongs for Best Soap Actor, Best Soap Storyline and Favourite Soap Star among many others.
Perhaps Aaron’s most notable mainstream exposure has involved the character’s relationship with Robert Sugden.
Known to diehard fans as ‘Robron’, the onscreen partnership endured several break ups, a marriage and raising a child together until Robert was written out in 2019.
Other TV roles include a stint on Grange Hill in 2007, ITV drama Lightfields and BBC series Jamaica Inn.
Danny also memorably played Sgt Rob Waddington in seven episodes of Scott & Bailey in 2013 and 2o14.
What has Danny Miller said about being in the I’m A Celebrity 2021 cast?
Danny can’t wait to meet celebrities from different walks of life. And it sound like he’ll be thrilled to spend time in the Welsh castle with fellow contestant David Ginola.
He said: “I am a people person and I can’t wait to meet everyone.
“If there is an ex footballer in there, I will definitely be asking them a lot of questions!
“It’s exciting and as my dad said to me recently: ‘You don’t do things by half! You always wanted to be a dad and now you are also going to be on the biggest TV show.'”
However, Danny may not be quite as keen on tucking in during the Bushtucker Trials.
He admitted: “I am absolutely dreading the eating Trials! I fear I will gag!”
Nonetheless, Danny reckons he will be useful to the group as a whole, and expects to provide support to any of his fellow celebs finding it tough.
“A shoulder to cry on and a person everyone can come to if they have a problem,” he speculated about his role in the camp.
Is Danny Miller married? Does he have any children?
Danny Miller is engaged to Steph, the mother of their son Albert.
He hailed Steph on Instagram while announcing their new arrival: “I was lucky enough to find someone who shines bright enough to lead me out of the dark. But I never imagined to be lead to the brightest place imaginable.”
The couple documented the pregnancy extensively on social media and have been very open about their wish to start a family.
They found out she was expecting a month following a holiday to St Lucia, during which Danny proposed.
Steph and Danny were hoping to embark upon IVF treatment shortly after their happy discovery.
He revealed to OK! Magazine in May: “It was unbelievable because we’d been told it probably wasn’t going to happen for us naturally, so we just feel so incredibly lucky.
“We’re very humbled by it as we know not everyone is as lucky.”
