I’m A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin surprised Declan Donnelly as he addressed the matter of Frankie Bridge and her knickers on live TV.
The presenting pair appeared on This Morning earlier today (Tuesday November 30) to update viewers about the future of the series.
But Ant, 46, brought a smile to the faces of hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby during a discussion about the contestants.
Why did Frankie Bridge and her knickers come up in conversation?
The condition of the former Saturdays singer’s underwear came up as Dec mentioned how the celebs were faring in quarantine.
Ant had already clarified that contestants don’t have access to phones or the internet while set repairs continue.
“They are completely cut off from the rest of the world,” he insisted.
However, Dec explained that some of the stars were continuing with castle ways in their new digs.
How contestants have adjusted to I’m A Celebrity life
“They were absolutely gutted to leave,” Dec explained, indicating a few of the contestants had fully adjusted to I’m A Celebrity living.
He noted how Arlene Phillips is still getting her head down in her sleeping bag.
It’s very important to have clean knickers.
And Danny Miller continues to sleep on the floor, preferring that to sleeping in a bed.
Dec continued: “They’re raring to get back in and finish the challenge.”
Ant spills all on Frankie’s knickers
But then Ant interjected about one contestant who has appreciated being away from Gwrych Castle.
He said: “Although Frankie did take all of her knickers to wash in the sink because they smell.”
“Trust you to spot that,” guffawed Dec.

Ant replied, chuckling away: “That’s what i hear, I hear these things Dec. What can I say?”
“It’s very important to have clean knickers,” an amused Holly then intervened.
And Phil chipped in: “Essential.”
