Ant McPartlin has been a familiar face on TV for decades but here’s all you need to know about his new life from stepdaughters to friendship with Dec.
Alongside long-time collaborator, Declan Donnelly, Ant & Dec have become arguably the most well-known TV presenters in the UK over the last 20 years.
From making his TV debut as PJ in Byker Grove in 1989 to winning 20 NTAs for Best Presenter in a row, Ant, alongside Dec, has had a meteoric rise to becoming one of the hottest properties in UK television.

How old is Ant McPartlin?
Ant is 46. He was born on November 18, 1975.
He grew up in Newcastle and got his big break in 1989 when he appeared as PJ on Byker Grove. It was on this show where he met Dec.
Ant and Dec became close friends and continued to work together once they left Byker Grove in 1993. The pair started working as Ant & Dec and started presenting children’s TV before branching out to other types of shows.

Over the years Ant and Dec have presented gameshows – Push the Button – talent shows – Britain’s Got Talent – and entertainment shows – I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – to name a very select few.
The pair have also been presenting their own show – Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway – on and off since 2002.
When did Ant marry Lisa Armstrong? When and why did they split?
Ant and Lisa met in the mid-1990s. Lisa was a member of the band Deuce. Their debut single peaked at number 11 in the UK charts. The band disbanded in 1997. Lisa then went on to train as a makeup artist. She is now the head of makeup and hair for Strictly Come Dancing.
Ant and Lisa married in July 2006 at a ceremony in Buckinghamshire. Dec was Ant’s best man on the day.
In 2018, it was revealed that they had split up.
Ant and Lisa were divorced in 2020, two years after announcing their split. They had been together for 23 years and married for 12 years.
It was reported that Lisa received £31 million in the divorce settlement. This reportedly included their £5 million London home.
Who is the wife of Ant McPartlin?
Ant remarried in August 2021. He is now married to his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, who is 43 years old.
Anne-Marie and Ant got together in 2018, shortly after he split from Lisa.
They were married in a church in Heckfield, Hampshire, in a star-studded ceremony, which saw the likes of Dec, Phillip Schofield, Dermot O’Leary, and David Walliams attend.
The pair originally intended to marry abroad, however, these plans changed due to the pandemic.
Who is Lisa with now?
Lisa has moved on from her divorce with Ant and is now dating James Green.
She has been with the 38-year-old since 2020. It is believed that James is a divorcee too.
James is reportedly an electrician and isn’t involved in the world of showbiz. It is believed that Lisa and James met before the first national lockdown last year.
Do Ant McPartlin and wife Anne-Marie plan to have kids?
The presenter currently does not have children. He does share custody of his pet Labrador, Hurley, with ex-wife Lisa.
However, Anne-Marie does have kids. She has two children – two teenage daughters – from a previous marriage.
With his marriage to Anne-Marie, Ant is now the girls’ stepfather.
What has Ant McPartlin said about being a stepfather?
Speaking to the Telegraph earlier in 2021, Ant was full of praise of his new stepdaughters.
He said: “I’ve got two stepdaughters, 13 and 15 and they are more socially aware at that age than I was in my mid-20s. Than I still am.”
He has even put a bit of pressure on them to save the world!

Ant added: “It’s not going to be our generation that saves the world. Look at Greta Thunberg, single-handedly almost making the world aware of climate change.
“It’s that kind of energy that this generation has got and they’ll save the rest of us. We’re just trying to make it easier for them.”
