Yesterday, we reported that some I’m A Celebrity viewers are fuming about Dennis Wise’s treatment of Iain Lee in the jungle, and want the retired footballer to leave the show.
Well, if a report on today’s Mirror Online is anything to go by, those viewers could well get their wish – and without the help of the standard eviction process.
In the article, it’s claimed that show bosses have held talks to determine whether or not Dennis, 50, has crossed the line and should be told to pack his bags.
The news website quotes a ‘show insider’ as saying: “Producers have been holed up in meetings, debating whether to reprimand Dennis or remove him altogether.
“They have a duty of care to all contestants [which] they take very seriously.”
However, an ITV rep responded to the reports by telling the publication: “The welfare of all our celebrities is of utmost importance and we’ve not witnessed nor had any complaints of bullying from any of them.”
Since the series started, several contestants have been accused of ‘bullying’ Iain – who’s admitted to suffering from depression in the past.
And for some viewers, Dennis went a bit too far on Tuesday night’s show when he kicked up a fuss about the radio presenter taking part in the Tutankha-Doom trial, because he’d failed previous tasks.

Iain later told the Bush Telegraph that the confrontation had been “humiliating”.
However, if you’re one of those people who want Dennis booted off the show, don’t get your hopes up.
An ITV representative scotched the claims in the report, insisting that no wrongdoing has been brought to their attention.
Said the rep: “The welfare of all our celebrities is of utmost importance, and we’ve not witnessed nor had any complaints of bullying from any of them.”

Rebekah Vardy was one of the contestants accused of ‘bullying’ Iain Lee in the jungle camp.
However, after been voted off the show on Monday, the WAG insisted that her comments towards him had been taken out of context, claiming that “so many scenes weren’t aired on the show”.
The 35-year-old revealed that she cried when she emerged from the camp to hear the accusations.
