I’m A Celebrity viewers are very keen to see Richard Madeley ‘get another chance’ on the ITV series next year.
Supporters made it clear they want to see Richard, 65, back in Gwrych Castle – or the jungle – in 2022 during last night’s show.
They were prompted to take to social media to call for Richard’s return by Friday’s (November 26) episode, which saw Ant and Dec interview the departed presenter.
What happened to Richard Madeley on I’m A Celebrity?
Richard had to quit the show following an emergency dash to hospital earlier this week.
He later updated fans by insisting he was “fine” and was seen by medics to be safe.
Richard explained: “I started to feel briefly unwell in the small hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

“By leaving the camp, I had consequently broken the COVID ‘bubble’ and as such I’ve had to leave the castle and all the wonderful celebs that remain in the camp.
“Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority.”
He also speculated he may have had low blood sugar.
However, during his telly appearance with hosts Ant and Dec on Friday evening, Richard seemed to be on good form.
‘Bring back Richard!’
Several disappointed supporters enthusiastically expressed themselves on social media about how they feel Richard is due another crack at the show.
One passionate viewer insisted on Twitter: “@itv I demand you give Richard Madeley a place on I’m A Celeb next year.
“He is the main reason I watch GMB every morning and you must convince him to take a place on next year’s show #ImACeleb #richardmadeley.”
Another fan demanded: “I best see Richard on #ImACeleb next year!”
“Richard better be allowed back next year. The only time I’m really wanting someone to come back #ImACeleb,” echoed a third Twitter user.
A fourth exclaimed: “@imacelebrity Richard needs to come back next year!!!! #ImACeleb.”
And a fifth person added: “If this interview doesn’t end with Ant and Dec making Richard sign a contract to return next year, this has all been a massive waste of time. #ImACeleb.”
Richard… and Judy, too?
Others were equally as hopeful, if a little less fervent, with their shared request.
“Let Richard have another bash at it next year please! #ImACeleb,” begged someone.
“Bring Richard Madeley back next year, ITV. You know you want to #ImACeleb,” suggested someone else.

And yet another supporter suggested Richard could appear again… but as part of a two-for-one celeb deal.
“Get Richard and Judy [Finnigan] in next year, #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb,” they wrote.
