Snakes, spiders and bugs aside, we’ve always thought doing I’m A Celebrity must be a pretty nice job.
As well as an all expenses paid trip to Australia’s Gold Coast and a luxury suite in a six-star hotel once you’re eliminated, you also get PAID for the honour!
And according to a new report, one of this year’s star contestants has become the highest paid I’m A Celeb camper in history.
Who, you ask?
Well, it’s none other than boxer Amir Khan!

It was previously speculated Amir, 30, had been paid around £250,000 to enter the jungle, but a new report in The Sun suggests £400,000 is actually a more accurate number.
A source said: “Amir was a great get, but he came at a hefty cost. He’s going to be the best paid celeb they’ve ever had.”
It’s believed the record for highest paid star camper was previously held by Katie Price, who entered the jungle in 2004 and 2009.
The insider added: “Katie Price got somewhere close, but Amir’s is slightly higher again.”
Of course, ITV would never confirm celebrity salaries for the show, so whether it’s 100 per cent accurate, who knows?
It’s often reported the lesser known stars on the show get around £25,000 to take part, while the bigger names can earn as much as £250,000 for their jungle stint.
Amir’s certainly been working for his money, though.
He’s already done two Bushtucker Trials – one successfully, one, er, not so successfully – and has to tackle a third tonight.
Amir screamed “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” during the first Bushtucker Trial of the series after encountering a snake, but managed to complete the second task, with involved navigating a huge water tower.

Tonight he’ll take on The Fright House against Vanessa White.
The pair have to work their way through various rooms with names like The Pest Wing and The Offal Office and whoever exits the house first wins the task.
