One former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant has slammed this year’s show in a scathing new interview.
Gemma Collins, who famously lasted a mere 72 hours in the jungle, described the current crop of campmates as “bland” and said they weren’t providing any entertainment.
Harsh.
Speaking to The Sun, Gemma said: “The casting for this year is appalling.”

She added: “I mean it’s just too bland, it’s like tomato soup without the tomatoes, it’s just hot water.”
The TOWIE star, 36, reckons everyone is being too nice – and not freaked enough about the Bushtucker Trials.
“What makes the jungle is all the screaming, all the scaredness, all the romance,” she said.
“But these campmates are just acting like they’re in a coffee shop.
“They’re too chilled in there.”
Well, they certainly weren’t chilled last night!
But we’re guessing Gemma’s chat with the paper was done before all the drama caused by Strawberry-Gate.
If you didn’t watch the episode, let us recap!
In a nutshell, Amir Khan and Iain Lee won the Dingo Dollar treat after the campmates guessed the correct answer to Kiosk Keith’s question.
But instead of bringing their strawberries and cream back to camp to share, they guzzled the goods in secret and then lied, saying they hadn’t won anything.
So bad, right?
It was Amir who brought it up first, saying they could eat them in the forest and the campmates would never find out.
“It’s tempting, isn’t it?” mused Iain.
“I’m having them, I want them!” shouted Amir.
“I’m so torn!” said Iain.
They decided to sit down, open the package and just have a look… which, of course, led to eating them all.
So, while the campmates were back at Croc Creek eagerly awaiting a possible treat (given they’re all starving), Iain and Amir were stuffing their faces with fruit and cream.
Well, the guilt got too much for Iain, who decided to ‘fess up to the camp later that night.
Amir then followed suit, saying they had “messed up”.

Naturally, the camp was LIVID! Particularly Dennis Wise, who told them it was utterly wrong and they’re no longer allowed to eat any treats won by camp going forward.
