Maybe it’s just as well the stars of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Year 2017 weren’t allowed many possessions in the jungle as they’d have only misplaced them!
That’s what apparently happened following the National Television Awards, anyway, as the’s show trophy has reportedly gone missing!
The silver award – given for Best Challenge Show – hasn’t been seen since the glitzy ceremony on 23rd January.
It seems in all the revelry the trophy was lost – or possibly one of the celebs took it home with them.
One of this year’s runners-up, Iain Lee, revealed on his talkRADIO show that producers have been ringing round the stars in a desperate attempt to track the gong down.
He said he was asked by a producer: “Have you got the NTA Award? Someone has walked off with it and we don’t know where it is and I’m ringing around everyone.
“I don’t think it’s you but I have to ring around everyone who was there to see if they know where it was.”

Iain said he replied: “I haven’t got it but I would say that, and bear in mind you are talking to a Strawberry thief!”
Although we all know from the latter incident that Iain couldn’t cope having a guilty conscience so it is likely he would ‘fess up if he was the trophy thief!
“I think Rebekah’s got it!” he joked on his show about the WAG, Becky Vardy, who he famously didn’t get along with in camp.
Pictures from the night show Becky larking around with the trophy in hand, but it was also seen being clutched by many of the other stars including Jamie Lomas and Dennis Wise.
Stirring the pot, Iain said anyone of them could be the thief.
“I don’t know who has got it but I spoke to her (the producer) again on Friday and it still hasn’t turned up. Someone has had it. One of the celebrities from I’m A Celebrity 2017 has stolen the trophy!”
Now, now, Iain, don’t start rumours!
I’m A Celebrity beat stiff competition from Love Island, Bake Off and Masterchef to take the title so the show producers are keen to have the award back so they can show it off.
The Sun went as far as to say I’m A Celeb bosses will ban celebs from taking selfies with any trophies won in the future to avoid a repeat performance.

ITV had no comment to make when contacted by ED! regarding the missing award.
So where could it be? We hope it turns up soon!
