Finalist in I’m a Celebrity Jamie Lomas has spoken of his wish to return to EastEnders when he returns from the jungle.
Lomas may be best known for his role as Warren Fox on Hollyoaks, a role he has played on and off for six years.
Warren Fox was Hollyoaks’ bad boy and Lomas was praised for his portrayal of the villain, often nominated for Villain of the Year.
After leaving Hollyoaks in 2011, Jamie arrived in Albert Square as alcoholic Jake Stone in 2013.
Lomas was involved in many dramatic storylines in his times on the Square including his affair with Lauren Branning. The character was eventually completely written out in 2015.
However, it has become apparent that Lomas is keen to return to his role as Jake Stone following his stint on I’m a Celeb.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Jamie is reported to have said:
“I’d love to go back to EastEnders. I had an amazing time with the people there. I still have some fantastic friends there.”
“I had such a fantastic character to play. When you’re playing someone with a drinking problem, you have to do it justice for the people who are suffering.”
“I studied alcoholism at length. And I’m forever grateful to EastEnders for giving me that opportunity.”

Jamie is currently still vying for the title of King of the Jungle.
In an unexpected twist in last night’s I’m a Celeb, Jennie McAlpine left the camp leaving Toff, Iain Lee and Jamie Lomas as the final three.
While odds are on Toff to be crowned Queen of the Jungle, viewers still enjoyed that Iain and Jamie seemed to have forgiven any anger they held towards each other.
Iain said: “I’m so humbled that people have seen something in us that perhaps we’ve not seen.”
Jamie replied: “I thought you were playing a game but you know I don’t think you are now, I think you’re a genuine guy.”
Iain was delighted by the breakthrough, saying: “Thank you man, I appreciate you saying that”.
