Many I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers are feeling a little bit short changed after their favourite campmate Stanley Johnson was eliminated so soon in the series.
So we are delighted to share the news that the sprightly near-octogenarian will be back on our screens soon in another reality show.
The 77-year-old features in the third series of BBC’s The Real Marigold Hotel.
For anyone who missed out on the previous series – and you really did miss out – the show gathers together a group of veteran public figures to entertain us with their antics.
Basically, Stanley is the perfect signing for the feel-good show.
Not everyone is happy about it though, if you believe a report in The Sun.
An insider told The Sun that the BBC had no idea he was also doing the jungle when he agreed to do their show.
While, obviously, it’s a free country and a man can appear on whatever reality show he wants, this source alleged the BBC was a bit disappointed as they wanted to be the ones to introduce Stanley’s wisdom and wit to the public.

Surely this can’t be true? Who could EVER be annoyed with Stanley?!
The insider alleged: “Obviously Stanley was under strict instructions from ITV to keep his appearance totally secret.
“But bosses at the BBC are still annoyed because they had no clue he was appearing on a major rival.
“The excitement of getting him on board has been really overshadowed.”
We personally feel like Stanley being such a massive hit with the UK public is surely a GOOD thing for the BBC show?!
Won’t legions of new Stanley fans now tune in to watch him?
There’s no word yet from BBC on whether this is actually accurate or not… but David Clews, from Twofours, the production company behind The Real Marigold Hotel, didn’t seem too bothered about Stanley’s jungle stint.
Clews gushed: “We’ve got a brilliant line up of famous faces checking into The Real Marigold Hotel. They’re a fabulous and funny mix of characters. They are honest and open about their personal stories.
“All of them are excited to explore what retirement has to offer in the vibrant and beautiful city of Udaipur. We’ve got our first married couple too, which adds a brand new dynamic. It’s going to be the best series yet.”
Eight other celebrities will join Stanley in the show’s new series, airing next year, including comedian Syd Little, former Dynasty actress Stephanie Beacham, and ex EastEnders star Peter Dean.
Boris Johnson’s dad left the Australian jungle two nights ago, admitting he was “gutted” the experience is now over.
He was the oldest person to ever do the show.
“I always say yes to things and I couldn’t conceivably see why I shouldn’t do this,” he told Ant & Dec after his elimination.
“I love being in wonderful empty places with only a few people!”
“This has been a wonderful environment to be in,” he added.

“Congratulations, Australia, for turning out this fantastic spot; a great world heritage site. And the friends have been superb, and the conversation. It gave me a chance to say a few things about what I care about like the environment, nature, animal welfare.
“And above all, we lose weight. This has been the most wonderful form of gastric surgery you can conceivably imagine!”
Oh, Stanley, we’ll miss you in camp!
