Brian McFadden has admitted he will be chancing his luck when he takes to the Dancing On Ice skate rink later this evening.
The 38-year-old’s training has been hampered by injury over the last few days – and despite keeping a smile on his face about the problems his uncomfortable issue has caused him, Bri will not be unhappy if he is eliminated from the ITV light entertainment show.
Appearing on This Morning alongside fellow celeb skater James Jordan, the Irish singer confessed he has hardly done any rehearsal this week.
Asked about any knocks contestants may have recently suffered, former Strictly pro James indicated former Westlife star Brian had had a hard time.

“You’ve had a really tough week, and I actually feel sorry for you, because you had back spasms, which is the worst,” he said to Brian.
Brian confessed: “I haven’t really skated at all this week.”
He continued, smiling: “I’m just going to kind of wing it tonight, so it should be interesting.”
The cheeky pair then suggested that kind of approach is not unknown among the current crop of skating celebs.
“Basically what Gemma does!” they joked.

However, even though other contestants may lack the same kind of skating skill that Brian possesses, he’s determined not to be bitter if he’s booted out.
“At the end of the day, I’ve been having a great time,” said the star, who showed off his TV tan on Instagram yesterday.
He continued: “If this is my last week over injury, that’s the way it is. It doesn’t matter to me. I’ve had a great time, I’ve enjoyed every week. I’m just going to go out and have fun tonight.

Brian reasoned: “It’s not the Olympics at the end of the day – it’s an entertainment show and I’m just going to go out and smile and have a laugh.
“If I get through, I’ll be delighted, and if not, I’ll go to Barbados for a week!”
– Dancing On Ice airs on Sundays on ITV at 6pm
