Since returning to Albert Square, Kat Slater has been plagued by menacing silent phone calls which have clearly left her shaken.
EastEnders fans have been left wondering exactly who is behind the anonymous phone calls – with one definite theory emerging.
That Kat’s past is coming back to haunt her. And by that, we mean her psychopathic son!
Admittedly, Kat has quite a few skeletons in her closet, but it seems fans would love to see her killer son Dermott (Oisin Stack) arrive in Albert Square.
In EastEnders spin-off show, Redwater, Kat and husband Alfie tracked him down – only for it to end very badly when she nearly drowned and Alfie flatlined during brain surgery.
But Kat (Jessie Wallace) has not discussed the dramatic events since her return – nor why her husband Alfie is missing.
Following her sinister calls, fans converged on Twitter to conspire about their theories, with one saying: “When’s Dermott headed to the Square to continue his rampage?”

Another said: “Would it be great if they brought a few of them into EastEnders from Redwater?”

One thing is for sure, BBC viewers who invested in EastEnders spin-off show Redwater seem to feel a bit cheated.
But with Shane Richie recently confirming that his character Alfie Moon is also returning to Walford, we reckon we’ll get a few answers soon.
With or without an appearance from Dermott!
