Mel Owen will FINALLY get it on with Jack Branning in EastEnders next week but is a blast from the past about to wreck her potential new romance?

The blonde returnee played by Tamzin Outhwaite in the BBC soap was married to Ciara Maguire’s brother before heading back to Walford earlier this year.
But there are rumblings that Mel’s marriage might not be as dunzo as we’ve been led to believe.
She told Sharon Mitchell during the heist drama that she was married to Ciara’s brother for a ‘long time.”
She then added: “Now I’m trying to get out but they’re not the kind of family that let you go easy.”
It seems that so far they’ve let her go quite easily. Since she handed the heist loot back to Ciara she’s had no trouble.
But could the Maguires be luring here into a false sense of security?
There’s also the issue that her teenage son Hunter has with Mel’s relationship with Jack.
Ever since the Branning brother started sniffing around his mum, Hunter has been on edge.
Could it just be that he doesn’t want another man in his mum’s life?

Or could he know that her marriage to Ciara’s brother isn’t really as over as she’s led everyone to believe?
We wouldn’t be surprised to see Mel’s ex arriving in Albert Square in the not-too-distant-future.
