ITV urged by fed-up Jeremy Kyle viewers to find something better to fill the morning hole

Some viewers aren't happy with the change

Viewers have been complaining about The Jeremy Kyle Show being replaced by Dickinson’s Real Deal and are rallying for something else to fill the slot on morning TV.

Dickinson’s Real Deal has been brought in to bridge the gap after Jeremy Kyle’s show was suddenly axed last week after 14 years on air.

ITV bosses made the decision to ditch the long-running show for good following the tragic death of guest Steve Dymond, who is believed to have taken his own life after he appeared on the programme.

The once popular ITV show was put under the spotlight following the incident, which drew criticism from viewers and Steve’s family.

But now, some are complaining that there needs to be a better replacement for the show as old repeats of Real Deal hit their screens.

Twitter users were up in arms following the change-up.

One fan tweeted: “#dickinsonsrealdeal is the only tv show whose hashtag gets about 2 tweets a day due to its popularity 🤣.”

They sarcastically added: “I only watch to see what shade of mahogany he is so I can choose a new table.”

A second viewer grumbled: “Am actually gutted about the ending of @ITVJeremyKyle Mornings will just not be the same! I can’t deal with #DickinsonsRealDeal instead!!!!”

A third added: “Bloody repeats!! Is this the best from the archives of ITV? Your advertisers must be loving you! #dickinsonsrealdeal.”

Another person wrote: “If The Jeremy Kyle Show gets banned, PLEASE can we not have David Dickinson every morning!!! #BringBackJezza #DickinsonsRealDeal #JeremyKyle.”

On Wednesday (May 15), Carolyn McCall, ITV’s CEO, announced: “Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.

“The Jeremy Kyle Show has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end.

“Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.”
