James Corden has said he is feeling nervous ahead of the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special, which he will start working on next week.
The star, who played Smithy in the comedy, will be co-creating the one-off reunion show with actress Ruth Jones.
He spoke about their plans during filming for The Late Late Show with James Corden in London this week.
According to The Sun, James told the audience: “This is it now, we go on another break and I’m going to start this on Monday morning – this new Gavin and Stacey Special.
“Or as me and Ruth Jones say ‘We start this new Gavin and [pretends to throw up]’, just out of nerves.”
Last month, the BBC confirmed that the popular comedy series will be making a comeback for the festive period.
James excited fans of the show when he shared a picture of the script on Instagram.

The show, which ran for three seasons and was consistently written by Ruth and James, has been off air for nine years.
The 40-year-old comedian previously said of the reunion: “We’re so excited to get the chance to work with our fabulous cast and crew once more and to give fans of the show a festive treat this Christmas. Thank you BBC for helping to make this happen.”
The BBC series starred Mathew Horne as Gavin and Joanna Page as Stacey. The cast also included Rob Brydon, Larry Lamb, Alison Steadman and Sheridan Smith.
