Presenter Janet Street Porter had a few choice words to say about TV chef Jamie Oliver on Loose Women.
During today’s episode (July 2), the panellists were talking about renewing wedding vows and debated whether or not they would do it themselves.
It follows the news that Jamie is renewing his vows with his wife Jools and taking a break from the limelight after his restaurant business collapsed earlier this year.

Show regular Janet didn’t hold back as she branded it nothing more than a “PR stunt” to distract from his business failings.
She ranted: “I don’t agree with renewing your vows. I kind of ask the question, why is Jamie Oliver doing it anyway? He closed 22 restaurants this year.”
Saira Khan cut in: “Oh you cynic!”
But Janet continued: “Call me a cynic. He’s closed 22 restaurants. His business has gone through some really challenging times.”
But Coleen Nolan argued: “And they’re still together!”
Janet went on: “I know, but a lot of people are made redundant and out of work because of his business failings. So a lot of people are without a job.
“I think this is a PR stunt. And his PR person has thought, Jamie let’s put out some good news to divert attention.”

Elsewhere Faryal Makhdoom Khan, wife of professional boxer and I’m A Celebrity star Amir Khan, appeared on the programme to talk about the extravagant birthday party she threw for her one year old.
She defended her decision to spend £75,000 on the bash, which was attended by hundreds of friends and family members.
She told the Loose Women: “We work so hard and every penny we earn is for our children. I just wanted to do a big first birthday and for them to remember, as they grow up, my mum and dad threw us a wonderful day.
“I did get some critics, I did get people saying, you know, what about people that can’t afford to do it, or the children won’t remember it. I do think you do it up to your budget.”
