Former King of the Jungle Joe Swash is being lined up for Dancing On Ice, a tabloid report has claimed.
According to the Sun’s website, the 37-year-old ex EastEnders star is wanted by ITV just three months after Joe announced the end of his I’m A Celebrity spin off presenting job.
He co-presented ITV2’s Extra Camp for nine years after winning the main series of I’m A Celebrity in 2008.
The tabloid quotes an unnamed insider as suggesting dad-of-two Joe is set on finding a new project after the news of his surprise exit was revealed in July.

A source is said to have told the Sun Online: “Joe’s currently talking to Dancing On Ice bosses.
“It’s no secret ITV love him and are keen to see him on the ice.
“He’s looking for a new challenge after I’m A Celeb and he’s sure to prove popular with viewers.”
Excited Dancing On Ice fans have also wondered whether an announcement about Joe is imminent after the show’s Instagram account posted an image teasing the identity of a future contestant.

The image shows a yellow star similar to those awarded to I’m A Celebrity contestants when they complete challenges successfully and a glimpse of a chest wearing a low-necked T shirt, very much in keeping with Joe’s style.
Dozen of commenters were quick to suggest his name in response to the pic’s caption: “We’ve got stars in our eyes over this celeb… Or in our jacket pockets?”
A spokesperson for ITV told EntertainmentDaily: “At this point any names linked to Dancing on Ice 2020 are pure speculation and we will be confirming our line up in due course.”
ED! has also contacted a representative for Joe for comment.
