Joe Swash is currently over in Australia gearing up for I’m A Celebrity’s new series to start on Sunday night.
But he will be going home each night to an empty hotel room after girlfriend Stacey Solomon was dropped from co-hosting duties on spinoff show Extra Camp.
Naturally, you’d expect Joe, 35, to be a bit upset about the turn of events.
And speaking to OK! magazine, the former EastEnders actor has revealed just how he feels about the whole thing.

He said: “I don’t think it will feel strange because I’ve done so many series without her. It was so nice to have Stacey with me last year but, like she says, she was just honoured to be able to experience it.”
Joe also joked to Star magazine: “It’s going to be just as good to work with Scarlett and Joel – I just won’t get as many cuddles of them!”
The couple worked together on the programme last year but a revamp of the companion show ahead of the new I’m A Celeb series saw the departure of Stacey, Vicky Pattison and Chris Ramsay.
Instead, Joe will be joined by former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt and fellow ex camper Joel Dommett.
And it looks like Stacey may not have time to even visit Joe in Oz given her busy work commitments back home.
Joe told OK!: “Stacey is doing pantomime this year and she’s got Loose Women so if she comes it will only be for four days. We’ll be fine though – our jobs mean we do spend time apart for work, but we understand each other’s jobs.”
Even if Stacey can’t get out to Oz, she’ll be watching Joe on screen every night.
“I’ll definitely miss it loads, but I’m so excited,” she previously told OK! magazine.
“I love watching it from the comfort of my own home, so I can’t wait to see what the show brings. Every year they do something different, so it is really nice.
“Joe’s so good at it. I’ll be excited to watch it.”
As for how she will cope while Joe’s away, she’s said she will be just fine!
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Stacey said: “When we first got together, Joe was in Australia doing the jungle and I went to Miami a couple of days after he got back, so we do know what it’s like to have that time apart.
“Sometimes life just goes so quickly anyway, I know it will be the same when he’s away… we won’t even notice the time go.”
Stacey added: “Joe is lovely and we are really happy. Our relationship is in a lovely place, we really care about each other.”
I’m A Celebrity kicks off its new series on Sunday night – and the ten celeb contestants have already touched down in Brisbane.
While the show won’t officially confirm the line-up until launch night, we can put two and two together when we see photos of stars jetting into Oz, right?
