After coming second in the last season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! comedian Joel Dommett is heading back to the reality show, this time as a cohost.

Dommett is reportedly joining former costar, Scarlett Moffat, in hosting companion show, I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp.

The show looks at behind the scenes footage of I’m a Celeb, and features interviews with eliminated contestants as they do, in fact, get out of there.

The news comes several months after former hosts Vicky Pattinson, Chris Ramsey, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon were rumoured to have been dropped from the show.

The Sun reported that the show is looking to “to refresh the format and give it a new lease of life.”

Producers were impressed with the chemistry between Dommett and Moffat during their season of I’m a Celeb.

“They’re a naturally funny pair together,” a source said, speaking to The Sun, “so the risk should pay off.”

The new season of I’m a Celeb is set to start filming in Australia later this year, and rumours are rife about who will be appearing.

There are even rumours of a return of LBC’s Katie Hopkins.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! complete with the fresh new Extra Island team is scheduled to hit screens in November.
