Newly exited Celebrity Big Brother contestant Roxanne Pallett is facing growing criticism for her behaviour in the CBB house, including from her former on-screen husband.
Kelvin Fletcher, who played Andy Sugden, husband of Roxanne’s Jo in Emmerdale has called her “evil”.
The 34-year-old actor took to Twitter to lambast his former co-star after she accused former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas of hitting her “like a boxer”.
His first tweet simply read “She. Is. Evil,” before going on to describe her as “calculated and manipulative”.

She’s not ‘mentally ill’ or in need of ‘help’. That denounces that people with actual mental health issues are as vindictive and menacing as her. They are not. There is a big difference. That was calculated and manipulative beyond belief. Ryan ❤️

Roxanne asked Big Brother to remove the Corrie star after accusing him of punching her “like a boxer would punch a bag” in the midst of what was seemingly a play fight.
She then asked to speak to a producer about the incident and requested to sleep in a separate room.
She told the Diary Room: “I went from being upset to being angry, because a boy has punched me repeatedly, unprovoked.”
Big Brother gave Ryan a formal warning after the incident, yet Ofcom received over 11,000 complaints, with many viewers calling for Roxanne to be removed from the house, and accusing her of making a mockery of abuse victims.

Her exit from CBB was announced this morning, with a spokesman for the show saying: Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.”
It was later revealed that Roxanne had decided to leave after Ben Jardine’s eviction on Friday, having spent two days reflecting on recent incidents.
Roxanne came to prominence in Emmerdale which she joined in 2005. She stayed with the show until 2008 and was crowned the winner of Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes in 2006.
