Kelvin Fletcher won Strictly Come Dancing 2019 on Saturday December 14 and he couldn’t be happier.
Along with his professional partner Oti Mabuse, Kelvin lifted the trophy after being drafted in as a last minute replcement for Jamie Laing at the start of the series.
He was clearly thrilled to be named the winner in a close final that saw his opponents Karim and Amy, and Emma and Anton all just a few points apart on the leader board.
After his win, a tearful Kelvin said: “Oti, thank you for the most amazing experience of my life.
“Thank you to Emma and Karim, Anton and Amy, all the pros and celebrities, the judges, all the production team, and thank you to everybody at home, I feel so proud to be part of this, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
The star has now reached out again to thank everybody for the part they played in his win.

Kelvin was a popular choice for the winner, despite a last minute surge in bets on EastEnders actress Emma to take home the crown with long-time king of ballroom Anton Du Beke.
Humbled. Elated. Honoured.
And indeed, some fans were upset Emma didn’t win.
One said: “Really happy for Kelvin and Oti, but I’m not going to lie – truly gutted for Anton and Emma #StrictlyFinal.”
Another wrote: “Even though they didn’t win – Emma and Anton are the ‘REAL WINNERS’.
A third simply put, “Oh Anton…” alongside a crying face emoji.

A number of others were gutted that CBBC star Karim didn’t get to lift the coveted Glitterball trophy.
Someone tweeted: “Karim and Amy were robbed.”
“Disappointed! Karim deserved it and if not Karim, at least Anton. But fair play, Kelvin was good too #StrictlyFinal,” said another.
“Karim is my champ and always will be. Complete legend. So talented and so humble,” one viewer wrote.
