Newly single Strictly professional Kevin Clifton has made a cheeky dig at marriage.
The dancer, 36, who announced his separation from wife and fellow-professional Karen back in March, made the quip during a live Q&A on Instagram yesterday afternoon.
Both Kevin and his celeb partner Stacey Dooley, 31, were answering fan questions during a break from rehearsals when one question took the dancer by surprise.
“Kevin come and marry me?” asked a fan.
“Oh is that a serious offer?” asked a taken aback Kevin, adding: “Trust me, that’s a bad idea!”
As Stacey burst out laughing, Kevin continued: “I can tell you now that’s a bad idea.”

Despite ending their three-year marriage earlier this year, Kevin and Karen still dance together.
During a joint interview with Hello magazine, Karen said of their amicable split: “As performers with our fans and as a couple with our family, we have shared so much, so no matter what has happened, we can continue. Things don’t have to fall apart.”
Kevin added: “Our friendship was built on our passion for dance. Dance is the glue that holds us together.”
Karen, who is partnered with Casualty actor Charles Venn on the show, is rumoured to have moved on with opera singer David Webb.
Kevin and Stacey are currently favourites to win the coveted glitter ball and will be performing the Waltz this weekend.
