Kylie Minogue was cruelly branded a “Dolly Parton tribute act” as she performed on last night’s Sport Relief.
The Aussie pop princess performed her new country-inspired single Dancing on the BBC fundraiser.
Unfortunately her performance split viewers.
Several unhappy Kylie viewers took to social media to slam her performance.
One wrote: “Is that Kylie Minogue or a poor Dolly Parton tribute act?”

A second said: “I had to turn #KylieMinogue off, it was hurting my ears.”
Another tweeted: “How Kylie Minogue got a career singing i do not know. That performance wouldn’t even make Xfactors worst bits #SportRelief.”
A fourth added: “Yes Kylie Minogue, I want to go out…away from this song and this car crash of a performance #SportRelief”
“Kylie literally sounds like it’s 3:56am and it’s the last call for karaoke at O’Neill’s,” said another.
They added: “I wanna go out Kylie, out of the room and away from your nasal screeching…”
However, Kylie was defended by other viewers who enjoyed her performance.

A second added: “@KylieMinogue on sport relief, evening made.”
“@kylieminogue gets a lot of slating but 80 million pure record sales without breaking America, The princess of pop deserves respect, She is truly an icon,” said a third.
