Viewers know that barmaid Eva discovered she was pregnant with Aidan Connor’s baby after they’d spilt up, and decided to terminate the pregnancy.
However, after a heartfelt plea from Toyah to act as a surrogate of kind, Eva agreed to carry the baby full-term and allow Toyah and Peter to adopt it.
Peter knew nothing about the deal, though, and was not told that their original surrogate had tragically lost their baby.

The news is now out, and Peter’s world has fallen apart.
And his subsequent actions have huge repercussions for Eva.
Shocked and angry, Peter turned to ex-flame Carla Connor about the fact baby Susie is Aidan’s son.
And the news soon spread amongst the Connor family.
Johnny, believing that Eva is an unfit mother, has declared war on the new mum, who he called a “liar” – vowing to seek custody of baby Susie.
It’s all too heartbreaking!
In an interview printed in The Mirror, Kym Marsh – who plays Michelle – has revealed things are about to kick off in a big way.
Just when we thought the Connors were ready to play happy families, Johnny revealed it was all an act!

She says: “Obviously, let’s not forget that there’s Susie still in the mix here.
“[When] the Connors find out about that, hell will break loose won’t it?
“So I think there’s a lot to come from the Connors”.
She also added that the Connor girls will stand together, adding: “I think we’re going to see a lot of the girls coming together, being quite strong and united which we love. We love the Connor girls.”
In shocking scenes to air next week, Johnny calls social services when he discovers Susie banged her head while in Eva’s care.
The storyline is leading to Catherine Tyldesley’s exit from the show after 7 years.
But will Eva leave with baby Susie or without her?
