Loose Women was more like Jeremy Kyle today as Linda Robson undertook a lie detector test.
The 60-year-old Birds Of A Feather actress said she wanted to do it to dispel speculation that her recent weight loss was thanks to surgery or diet pills.
She was accused of going under the knife after posting pictures of herself on a family holiday looking svelte in a black swimsuit.
“Lots of people think I have had a gastric band or a sleeve so Loose Women asked if I’d have a lie detector test to prove that I haven’t,” she explained to host Andrea McLean, revealing she has lost two-and-a-half stone in the last year.
During the test, Linda was asked, “have you ever been fitted with a gastric band?”, “have you ever had any form of bariatric surgery?” and “have you taken diet pills in the last two years?”
At the end of the show, the results were revealed.

Linda answered “no” to each question and the test revealed she was telling the truth.
Explaining how she actually lost the weight, Linda said: “It’s been about a year now. I haven’t had any wine and I have been going to the gym and cut sugar out.”
She added she was galvanised into changing her diet and lifestyle after a health test revealed she was in danger of developing type two diabetes.
Her fellow Loose Women panellists said her efforts have certainly paid off as she looks fabulous.
They said they never doubted her but they were happy everyone else now knew the truth too.

“Well the truth is out there, well done Linda,” Andrea told her, adding, “so all the naysayers, now you know.”
