Line of Duty fans have gone into meltdown after people are believed to have spotted the series five DVD on sale in Sainbury’s.
Furious fans of the BBC show are worried about spoilers leaking ahead of tonight’s finale after someone claimed to have already purchased the full season.
The series five DVD isn’t supposed to go on sale until tomorrow (Monday May 6), the day after the BBC airs the highly-anticipated last episode.

In a snap shared on a Line of Duty fan Facebook page on Saturday, a fan can be seen clutching a copy of the series five DVD.
“When you just can’t wait another day!! Thanks Sainsburys #nospoilers,” he captioned it.
It’s unclear which Sainsbury’s store he purchased the DVD, but since then others have also been posting images of what appears to be series five and the series one to five box set on sale in the supermarket.
Naturally, people are worried spoilers could ripple through the internet before tonight’s 9pm finale and were soon tweeting Sainsbury’s demanding why the DVD was already on sale.

“@sainsburys someone has just posted this on a Line of Duty fan page,” one wrote along with the image of the DVD. “Do you actually have Series 5 on the shelves when the series finale hasn’t even aired on @BBCOne?!”
A second claimed they had already stumbled across spoilers.
“So @sainsburys put #LineOfDuty series 5 on their shelves today and I’ve seen spoilers on Facebook.”

Others also claimed Amazon had already sent out pre-orders ahead of the official release date.
“Apparently some people who have ordered through Amazon have already received theirs in the post,” another wrote on Twitter.
“You’d think even if people hadn’t seen the show they’d know it’s quite a big deal for those who have so don’t muck about.”
Sainbury’s said they are “looking into this”. Entertainment Daily has contacted Acorn Media, who distribute Line of Duty on DVD in the UK.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting tonight’s finale to see if they will finally be able to find out who ‘H’ is.
Last week, Lisa McQueen actress Rochenda Sandall appeared on This Morning and appeared to suggest that viewers might have to wait until series six to discover their identity.
But just days later, Adrian Dunbar, who plays AC-12 gaffer and everyone’s favourite Northern Irish copper Ted Hastings, said on Good Morning Britain that all will be revealed in the upcoming feature-length finale.
– Line of Duty will conclude tonight (May 5) at 9pm on BBC One
