But even though she is now looking slender, she admitted that she was repulsed by saggy skin and stretch marks.
In spite of the amazing new look, she actually wondered whether or not she should have bothered about putting all the hard work in because she thought that she looked worse than she did before.
“When I made the decision to lose weight, I never for one second imagined that I would end up looking like that,” she told The Mirror.
“It never occurred to me that the loose skin would be so bad.
“I thought, ‘Why on earth have I lost all this weight?’
“I looked worse than I did when I was obese. And it was the pain as well. The skin was flapping about and dragging.
“I felt like I had done so well losing the weight but I had ended up with the booby prize.
“I was revolted by my own image, it was rancid.
“I was used to seeing the obese Lisa reflection, but this saggy mess was new, it was painful and it was quashing the brilliance of what I had done.”
And so to remedy the situation, Lisa bravely decided to go under the knife and had a camera crew follow her all the way for a new doc.
She hopes that the show will point out what people who shed loads of weight have to go through afterwards.
She said that the NHS doesn’t help people to get rid off the excess skin and that many set up crowd funding schemes to do so.

“I wanted to show the brutality of it. In life you can’t sympathise or have empathy with anybody unless you can see it,”
“If I can help one person, and I know I have helped thousands, then for me it has been worthwhile.
“People used to say, ‘Oh, it is amazing how much weight you have lost.’ But they had no idea what was going on under my clothes.
“I used to tuck all the rolls of skin into my tights and underwear, I was very good at hiding it.
“When you are on this weight loss journey, food becomes the enemy and you have to go to the gym, you have to move.
“But the movement was becoming a severe problem. It really hurt, it rubbed and it would get red, and it was hard to clean between the folds.
“I was determined to show the harsh reality of it. I used to say it ain’t over until the fat lady sings. Well I ain’t fat any more and I can sing for other people.”
