There was a momentary bit of confusion on today’s Loose Women after the studio lights dramatically snapped off mid-way through an interview.
The panel had just introduced actress Lorraine Chase to the audience and she was busy gushing about Robbie Williams when it all plunged into darkness.
Er, what?
Lorraine had just been telling Robbie’s wife Ayda Field: “Robbie is such a handsome, talented boy. He’s scrumptious.”
Then the lights suddenly went off!

Kate Garraway quipped: “Hello, is that him fiddling with the fuse box?”
Ayda laughed: “He’s so hot and talented he shut the lights down!”
Thankfully, just seconds later the lights flickered back on again.
Kate, who was leading the panel, quipped: “For heaven’s sake, can someone put an extra coin in the metre?”
Stacey Solomon admitted: “I thought we were meant to have learned a dance there and got a hot flush!”
Even the show’s Twitter account couldn’t resist poking fun at the mishap!
A tweet posted afterwards said: “Did someone forget to pay the electricity bill?!?! Or did Robbie Williams turn the lights off?!”
Robbie was hanging around backstage (off-camera, sadly!) while his wife Ayda joined today’s panel.
It’s been a while since Ayda’s been on the panel.

She gave an update on Robbie’s recent mystery illness, which forced him to cancel tour dates, saying he’s on the mend again, partly due to them embracing a new plant-based diet.
Ayda then made the panel laugh by saying Robbie thought the plant-based diet meant he was now a vegan… until she pointed out he was wearing a leather jacket!
