Linda Robson has opened up about a health scare on Loose Women today as she admitted her children are “worried”.
The TV star, 66, and her co-stars were talking about how illness can affect relationships. It comes after the Princess of Wales announced the end of her chemotherapy treatment on Monday.
Linda said she’ll find out next week if a cyst on her pancreas has grown and whether she’ll need surgery.

She explained: “I’ve had a bit of a health scare myself. Quite a few years ago I had gallstones and they damaged my pancreas.
“They’ve been keeping an eye on me for quite a while so I go back and have MRIs and scans all the time.
“The 20th of September I’ll find out… I had a cyst on my pancreas and it’s gone from 1cm to 2cm so the kids have been really worried about me.”
Ruth Langsford asked: “So this is happening right now?”
Linda said: “Yeah. So if it is bad, then they’ll have to remove my pancreas which means I’ll then be a diabetic. But fingers crossed it won’t happen.
“Hopefully the cysts haven’t grown. I feel quite positive about it but the kids are obviously worried.”
Ruth asked: “So how do you deal with that as a family? Are you talking?”
Linda replied: “I talk but I make jokes about it all the time. Just try and diffuse them worrying about me.”
Linda has been a firm fixture on Loose Women for many years now.
She previously opened up about her stints on the daytime show and admitted she’s ‘banned’ from hosting the programme.
During a chat with The Sun last year, Linda said: “I did ask once if I could be the anchor on Loose Women. They said: ‘Are you joking? You’ll end up swearing or something. No you can’t.'”
