Loose Women panellist reports dreadful death threat to police

She fought straight back.

Loose Women’s Saira Khan has revealed that she received a death threat after she posted a picture of herself wearing a bikini.

What’s more, she was using the bikini shot as a way of hitting back at a Muslim Preacher who had said that the practise of “plucking eyebrows” is a sin for muslim women.

Posting the pic on instagram, she wrote: “I woke up to news that a Muslim preacher is saying that “plucking eyebrows” for Muslim women is a sin – here’s my response – kiss my [bottom] you backward prehistoric dinosaur!

While many of her followers were in total agreement with her, one anonymous contributor called Silverbengle posted a hate message that read: “Keep your mouth shut!

“Your not a Muslim nor do you represent anything to do with Islam!!!

“Your white masters have given you what you desire as a sell out reporter!!!

“If you value your life keep the [BLEEP] out of Islam”

Furious at the response and not at all scared of the threat, Saira wrote a tweet alerting Metropolitan police to Silverbengle’s threatening message and telling them to “check it out”.

This isn’t the first time Saira has been attacked by Muslims for what they see as flaunting her body.

Back in May when the girls unveiled a group picture of themselves in which they all posed in their bikinis for their bodies campaign, Saira was criticised by someone called Bilal Ali who said that as a Muslim he was ‘disgraced’ to see the image.

In a lengthy post, he told her she was not a role model and it was his “duty as a brother” to tell her.

But straight-talking Saira wasn’t having any of it and hit back saying: “I bet none of my other Loose Women are getting posts like this.

“As soon as I say ‘I’m a Muslim’ then all hell breaks loose.

“I was brought up not to judge others – it’s a basic requirement for Muslims.

“I feel so sorry for people like this who are so threatened by a woman’s body this is not a sexual campaign – it’s one to empower women, for us to feel good about ourselves and our imperfections.

“It’s my choice to do this and if Allah doesn’t like it, let him deal with me – WTF does it have to do with anyone else?”
