Loose Women star confesses embarrassing sexting mishap

It's not very often the panel are truly shocked...

You can always rely on those Loose Women to come up with something that’ll make your toes curl – and today’s show turned up an absolute belter.

The panel were discussing ‘Our biggest phone fails’ when Linda Robson dropped a bombshell that almost had us choking on our lunch.

The Birds Of A Feather star, 59, revealed that she’d once sexted her husband Mark Dunford – but had accidentally sent the saucy message to her DAUGHTER instead!

Opening up to Christine Lampard, Janet Street-Porter and Stacey Solomon, she admitted: “I was going away. Me and Mark were sending saucy text messages to each other – mucking about, a little bit rude.

“I sent it to my daughter Lauren instead. I rang her straightaway to say I was mucking about and didn’t mean to send that.

“She didn’t answer the phone. She didn’t speak to me all day.

“Then, that night when I spoke to her, she said: ‘That’s disgusting. I can’t believe you sent that.'”

The rest of the panel were gobsmacked by Linda’s confession – even though Loose Women is renowned for its salacious content.

Only yesterday, the show featured a Halloween sketch where Linda and Stacey were seen ‘trick or treating’ Janet in a series of costumes.

On one occasion, Stacey dressed up as a character from the film Minions, and Janet later admitted: “I thought it was… a sperm.”

Back in May, Linda Robson revealed that she and her husband came close to getting divorced several years ago following a series of traumatic events.

Her father died of lung cancer in 1997, just a week after being diagnosed. And her mother died of stomach cancer in 2012.

To make matters worse, Linda’s daughter from a past relationship, Lauren, was diagnosed with bulimia, while the couple’s son Louis began suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder after witnessing the murder of a friend.

Both Lauren and Louis have now recovered, and the actress suggested that her marriage is stronger than ever.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, she said of Dunford: “I love him. We’ve had a few tough years when we could have easily called it a day, but we didn’t.”
