He’s been called a snake amongst various other names on Twitter, but Eyal Booker really is a decent guy according to his friend.
Following the drama of the last few days inside the Love Island villa, Eyal’s former Everyoung bandmate has spoken out.
Commenting on his romance with Megan, Jack Morlen said: “I hate to say it, but I don’t think she is the one for him.
“She’s choosing him on how he looks and they haven’t got to know each other.”
He added to the Sun Online: “It’s been nothing but drama. He’s a lovely guy and it’s very easy to get mixed up among the drama.”
Jack also hit out at criticism over Eyal’s behaviour towards doctor Alex George, insisting it’s “unfair” of fans to say his friend “wouldn’t let another guy have a chance”.

He also said: “He’s always been very calm, very collected. He’s just a nice, thoughtful guy really.
“He has a very nice aura about. I’m sure if he was out of the villa some of those people he wouldn’t be friends with if he met on a night out.
“It’s easy to be drowned a bit in there with personalities. I think Eyal’s a lot smarter than some of the guys in there, he’s a lot more switched on and I think that can sometimes make you overthink how you’re coming across.”
Last night saw Charlie and Hayley become the first couple to be dumped from the luxury villa.
Eyal was no doubt gutted as it means Alex remains in the game, and might still try it on with newbie Megan.
However, the pretty blonde may be shocked to find out that a former love interest of the doctor has branded him a “cocky player”.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the 23-year-old woman claimed she met Alex on dating app Bumble and spoke to him for a while.
“He seemed super sweet because he was really into his job and he was working at Lewisham hospital in A+E, he was the person that was looking after pregnant women if they came into A+E, so I was really into that,” she explained.
“But then he got a little bit cocky, he knew he had money, even though he wasn’t quite high up or anything.
“I would say that the way he came across to me was that he was a bit of a player, I just wasn’t into it. When I stopped talking to him he didn’t try again, he was a typical player, I imagine he was talking to other girls at the time. I just didn’t like his vibe.”
Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
