There has been quite a divide in opinion after Amber and Greg won Love Island last night, while many fans were pleased others were surprised that favourites Tommy and Molly-Mae didn’t take the crown.
Amber couldn’t hide her shock when Caroline Flack announced she and Greg had taken the title during last night’s final (July 29).
Their win comes 12 days after they met and Amber decided to pick Greg over her ex Michael in a recoupling.
Greg managed to woo Amber after she was dumped by Michael, and they quickly became the new hot couple in the villa.
However, some fans are stunned that they won the entire show, as Tommy and Molly-Mae are officially boyfriend and girlfriend and have been together for a total of 54 days.
One fan tweeted: “So after dating for 12 days Amber and Greg have won Love Island congrats to them both they deserve but I need to clear something up. I’m gutted for Tommy and Molly Mae because they deserve it more because it makes more sense for them to win.”
A second viewer added: “Wtf Tommy and Molly were clear winners !! @LoveIsland.”
A third commented: “Wrong in my eyes, Molly and Tommy were the real winners.”
And a fourth wrote: “Amber and Greg winning Love Island after knowing each other a whole 12 days? All about popularity. #LoveIsland.”

Going into the final last night, Molly-Mae and Tommy were favourite to win at the bookies, with odds of 4/6.
However, other viewers voiced their happiness about Amber and Greg taking the crown, with many insisting Amber deserves it because of the journey she has been on.
