Love Island’s Joe Garratt has emerged as an early favourite to win the show, with fans falling for his boyband looks and relaxed attitude towards life (well, that was until Tommy Fury stole his girl last night).
But, despite being one of the more popular contestants, some viewers couldn’t help but notice something totally “cringe” about the 22-year-old catering company owner.

During this week’s first introduction to the show and the Love Island villa housemates, eagle-eyed ITV2 viewers discovered that Joe has a rather embarrassing screensaver on his phone.
The islanders began using their villa phones to take selfies and receive messages while on the Mallorcan island and, during one scene, those watching from home got a good look at Joe’s phone.

Fans couldn’t help sniggering as his phone lock was of himself!
The South Londoner, who has only had one girlfriend and was clearly hoping Lucie would be his second, was called out on the fact which they thought was embarrassing.
Alongside the vomit emoji, one said: “Joe having himself as his phone wallpaper, though.”

Another said: “Wait Joe’s phone background is himself. What a guy.”
A third surprised viewer wrote: “Did Joe have himself as his phone lock screen???”
“Love Island’s Joe’s got a few bob on himself by the way,” tweeted another, who didn’t see the funny side. “He’s got his own photo as his [bleep] screen saver the [bleep].”
Aside from this apparent error of judgement, Joe is fast becoming a favourite amongst viewers.
The curly-haired Harry Styles-lookalike had his heart trampled on last night, when Tommy Fury chose to couple up with Lucie…
A spokesperson for Love Island told ED! that, in fact, all of the contestants start the show with their own promo photo as their screensaver.
