Love Island SPOILER: Megan slams Georgia for always being “centre of attention”

Drama is brewing between two islanders!

| Updated:

Love Island’s Megan Barton Hanson questioned Georgia Steel’s motives for being at the villa.

The 24-year-old model has accused aspiring actress Georgia, 20, of trying to be the “centre of attention” and overly “dramatising” things.

But her remarks haven’t gone down well with Rosie Williams…

On Friday’s episode, Megan admits she’s unsure what to think about Georgia as she’s so different to the friends Megan has in the real world.

Megan’s comments come as the girls watch Georgia chatting with the boys about being dared to jump in the pool.

She says of Georgia: “I don’t know if it’s me because I’ve not been around that kind of person but to me it just seems very full on. All my friends at home just seem really real. I don’t know whether everything is dramatised.”

Megan adds: “Is she genuinely here to find love or is she here to be the centre of attention?”

She continues to discuss Georgia in the Beach Hut, suggesting the drama student’s behaviour “seems exaggerated” in the villa.

“Obviously she’s young and she just wants to have fun but I feel like [at any opportunity] it will be ‘The Georgia Show’,” says Megan.

“I’m not that type of person so maybe it seems exaggerated to me.”

Meanwhile, Megan’s friend Rosie seems to find the subject a bit uncomfortable and admits she feels “awkward” listening to Megan criticise Georgia.

Rosie decides to tell her partner Adam Collard what Megan said… so will it now get back to Georgia?!

She tells Adam: “I felt a bit awkward just now. I was at the fire pit with the girls and Megan came over and started talking about Georgia, just saying that she thinks she’s come in here to be the centre of attention and not come in for love.”

Rosie adds: “I just didn’t know what to say. Georgia is my friend and I’m not a bitchy person.

“It was quite in on Georgia.”

Elsewhere, Georgia is sent on a snorkelling date with her partner Josh Denzel on Friday night’s episode, allowing them the chance to get to know each other after the last recoupling.

And it all goes swimmingly! (Sorry, we couldn’t resist…)

Josh is pretty chuffed when Georgia tells him what she likes in a man, and he ticks all the boxes!

Georgia reveals she’s been single for two years and is ready to meet someone, while Josh says he’s also ready for love after ending a six-year relationship.

He tells Georgia: “I’ve spent the last six, seven months enjoying single life and focussing a bit more on me. I think by the end of it I felt a bit too comfortable. One of the things with you is I don’t ever feel comfortable! I don’t know what’s round the corner!”

He adds: “This is the first date. I think the second date can only get better.”
