Tonight’s Love Island will see Michael Griffiths try to make amends with ex-partner Amber Gill.
Michael sat Amber down last night (July 15) to tell her he definitely doesn’t see a future between them as he still likes dumped islander Joanna Chimonides. But fans voiced their dislike over the way he ordered Amber to “sit down” to talk and she was also fuming.
Now, he has decided to try to bury the hatchet with her after sensing she is upset. Tonight, he pulls Amber to one side to apologise for hurting her.
It comes after she admitted to Michael she still has feelings for him.
Michael reflects on their previous chat and explains he is sorry if he came across harshly.
The pair sit in the lounge and Michael says: “When I came over and told you to sit down, it was because you had wearing heels all night and I didn’t want you to walk anywhere else. I am apologising if it came across in a bad way.”
Amber makes sure she has her say. She reveals her upset and says she is sick of the way she has been treated.
She tells the firefighter: “I just think you really need to think about the way you speak to me, because it comes across really badly.”

Reflecting on their romance, she adds: “I knew you before and you never spoke to me in a way that made me feel upset.”

Michael opens up and confesses: “I don’t actually want to hurt you and I never have.
“Right now, it seems that I take all of my frustration out on you.”
Will they be able to move on from this?
