An insider has revealed to The Sun that the Dancing On Ice bosses want to get Love Island 2017 winner Kem Cetinay on the show.
The source said: “Kem impressed ITV bosses in Love Island and they wanted one of the contestants for DOI too.
“They think he could physically keep up with the training and has the personality to be a fan favourite.”
The famous ice skating competition is due to return in 2018, though the exact date hasn’t been confirmed.
It was revealed on a recent episode of This Morning that Olympic skaters Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will return to the show.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby also announced they will be returning to host the show as they did when it first started in 2006.
Holly presented the skating series with Phil from its beginning in 2006 until Christine Lampard took over in 2012.
There’s going to be a brand new studio set and a whole host of new professional skaters.
Phillip said: “There are some big changes, all for the very exciting better. It’s now in a brand new home.”
Jayne and Chris, who normally train the celebrities and choreograph the routines are switching roles however, and are moving onto the judging panel and will be alongside two additional judges who have yet to be announced.
Chris revealed: “The professionals and the celebrities are going to do their own choreography.”
Holly replied that that felt a little bit frightening as Chris and Jayne would have no control over it at all.
