A bidding war on a used piece of tissue owned by Love Island’s Adam Collard reached an incredible £4,500 on eBay.
The 22-year-old revealed on his Instagram stories that a prank with fellow Love Islander Sam Bird had got out of hand as the bids went up and up.

He told his fans in a short video: “I think the world’s gone mad because this started as a joke on Saturday night and one of my friend’s has put up on a used tissue by me and now the eBay bidding has gone up to £4,500.
“I don’t know if this is legit. What do you think Sam?”
Sam joked: “Because I’m the one bidding on it.”

Adam, who is dating his Love Island co-star Zara McDermott, then shared pictures of the bids, warning his followers not to “waste” their money.
The tissue was listed on eBay with the description: “Adam Collard’s Used Tissue. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.”

The tissue is no longer available on eBay with it unknown if one lucky winner has walked away with it.
However it has inspired copycats with three tissues allegedly used by Adam currently available on the auction site.
The personal trainer has been at the centre of controversy after an alleged altercation between him and Ferne McCann at the National Television Awards.
It had been reported that police were called to London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday after Ferne “hurled a drink” over Adam following an argument about comments his girlfriend Zara had allegedly made about the former TOWIE star.
Ferne said in a statement: “To be clear I have never thrown glass at anyone.
“I am not proud of reacting the way I did to the serious abuse and intimidation I was subjected to and I should not have thrown a drink.
“However I am not sure how someone who said the things he did about my daughter and me is seeking to portray himself as a victim.”
