Reality contestant Olivia Attwood has been approached to star on I’m A Celebrity, a tabloid report has claimed.

The 26-year-old is reported to have revealed she’s currently in discussions with TV bosses for a slot on the show in the Australian jungle.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: “There have been conversations with I’m A Celebrity. It’s ongoing.

“It would be my dream to do the jungle. I’ve made no qualms about that. It’s such an iconic show.”

Olivia apparently made a guest appearance on the show’s spin off programme Extra Camp last year.

And the Guildford-born media personality has admitted that experience whet her appetite for the challenge down under.

She said: “Going out there gave me a taste for it. I got to do a trial, which was amazing.”

Olivia also reckons she could surprise many viewers who might not imagine she is cut out for camping in the jungle.

Insisting she is more of a tomboy than devoted Love Island fans would expect, Olivia also hinted she’d be quite comfortable eating a spider.

However, naturalist and Springwatch presenter Chris Packham recently called for producers of I’m A Celebrity to stop ditch segments featuring wildlife.

Speaking at the TV Choice Awards, he said: “I’m A Celebrity, can you please think about no longer abusing animals on your programme?”

I’m A Celebrity is expected to return to ITV in late November.
