Former Love Island star Tyla Carr has opened up about losing her hair after the birth of her son Archie and her split with her boyfriend.
The 25-year-old reality star was left with bald patches at the front of her hairline after suffering from post-partum hair loss.
She revealed it got so severe that she was losing clumps of hair every day and it majorly affected her body confidence.
Tyla, who appeared on Love Island in 2017, lost so many strands they would clog up her shower.
She explained: “As a woman, your hair is so important to your overall look – it was so upsetting seeing it all fall out.”
Tyla began to notice her hair loss when she stopped breastfeeding seven-month-old Archie and after she split from partner Rossco Edmonds.
She fell pregnant with Archie three months into her relationship with businessman Rossco. Tyla announced their split last month.
She said: “It was horrendous. I had always had lovely thick hair and it grew even more luscious when I was pregnant with Archie. But that all changed when I stopped breastfeeding. I began to notice clumps of hair coming out in the shower in the morning, blocking up the plughole.”

Tyla added: “Your hair is such an integral part of your beauty routine and it was devastating to see how thin and lacklustre it looked with bald patches around the temples. I am desperate to get it sorted.”
The mum-of-one has been keen to find something to save her locks and she has been using new supplement GROW by Hair Gain.
The supplement’s formula is derived from organic pea shoots. It contains phytonutrients which is said to give fuller, thicker hair in just one month for women suffering hair loss for a number of reasons including; stress, anxiety, hormone changes, pregnancy or ageing.
