Good Morning Britain viewers gobsmacked as Luisa Zissman admits to ‘photoshopping’ pics of her kids

She would never photoshop their freckles, though

Former Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman left Good Morning Britain viewers stunned after admitting she airbrushes her children’s photos.

Appearing on the programme today (30.10.19), the entrepreneur and reality star said she prefers her kids’ faces to be “smoother”.

She told host Susanna Reid: “They’re not so lovely when they’re covered in crumbs of food. My girls, two of them are ginger and they have that really fair skin that gets all red and blotchy.

“I just think it’s nice to look a bit smoother, and not look back and think, ‘Oh my poor face’. I would never photoshop the freckles though…

When Susanna asked what her girls thought about their photos being changed, Luisa replied: “They don’t know, they just think they’re beautiful always, photoshopped or not.”

But Susanna argued: “They are beautiful always, that’s the point, isn’t it?”

“When it’s on the wall I like it to look nice,” Luisa insisted.

The debate remained light hearted but on Twitter, viewers were stunned.

One wrote: “Omg, folk photoshop their kids’ photos! Wtf is wrong with you!? #GMB.”

Another tweeted: “#GMB never photoshop your kids’ pictures. Don’t mess with memories!”

I’m speechless, your children are beautiful, they’re your world.

A third put: “Has she not heard of face wipes? Why on earth would you photoshop your children?! #GMB.”

Someone else said: “Photoshopping children’s school photos is just reinforcing the theory that there is something wrong with that child. Great for self esteem guys, in this day and age of mental health awareness…”

A fifth wrote: “Right now on @GMB photoshopping your kids school photos! I’m speechless, your children are beautiful, they’re your world. No wonder there is no self love with toxic damaged parents like that. What a sad world we live in #gmb”

For others, the idea wasn’t so shocking, with one tweeting, “Wish photoshopping was around when I was in school in secondary school, not junior #GMB.”

Another said: “To be fair, I would take advantage of the photoshop option but only if my child had a cut or bruise on their face. #gmb.

It follows a controversial debate on the programme that had viewers riled up over claims elderly people should not be allowed to vote.

Former Apprentice contestant Joanna Jarjue featured on the programme earlier this week alongside Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s dad, Stanley, for a debate about a potential cap on the voting age.

She argued that it should be set at 70, but her comments provoked fury from social media users who called her a “disgrace”.
