Megan Barton Hanson has revealed she’s messaged Dancing On Ice’s Vanessa Bauer to clear the air after slamming her in a social media post.
Earlier this week, the Love Island star accused Vanessa – who is partnered with Megan’s boyfriend Wes Nelson on the skating show – of timing her break-up with Louis Nathaniel for publicity and not looking her “in the eye” when they met.
Appearing on Thursday’s Loose Women, Megan insisted she was just “really hurt” that Vanessa didn’t “make the effort” to introduce herself to her.

She told the panel: “I sent her a message last night so we’re working on it.”
Megan didn’t reveal if she had received a reply from Vanessa.
The reality TV star also admitted that she felt jealous about her boyfriend Wes spending 12 hours a day training with Vanessa.
She said: “I feel like it’s natural. The first year of living together is hard anyway. To have Wes three hours a night when he’s exhausted after his training, I think it’s normal. Not insecurity.
“I’m jealous. I want to be parading around dancing with him in sexy Lycra, not get the tired Wes.
“I just feel like woman to woman, more effort could have been made. I want to draw a line underneath it. My priority is Wes.”
Speaking about writing the post about Vanessa, Megan said: “I was just really hurt. It was Sunday and the first ever time I saw Wes on Dancing On Ice. He smashed it but it was just taken away from him.
“When we woke up, all the headlines were focused on me being a jealous ex.”
When asked why she hit out at Vanessa and not Wes for not introducing her to the skater, Megan said: “He has multiple times. I feel as a woman, she should have reached out to me.
“I think if you’re going to spend three months with someone, it would [the] natural [thing to do].”
She added: “I’m not deeply insecure, but to watch your boyfriend doing romantic dances with someone is not ideal.”
Panellist Andrea McLean then read out a statement from Vanessa’s spokesperson which said: “Contrary to suggestions, Vanessa did not ‘announce’ her split. She’s never discussed her private life and as always wants to stay focused on her professional commitments.”
Viewers watching from home didn’t agree with Megan’s comments and shared their thoughts on Twitter.
One person said: “I really can’t see the issue, you put that out there Megan, you created this.”
