Michelle Keegan admits she’s unsure about future as husband lands another job abroad

It's a revealing new interview

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have only been married three years, but have spent most of that time living apart with Mark working in LA for entertainment show Extra, and Michelle filming all over the world.

The actress has now confessed she is unsure about their future, admitting: “It’s hard”.

The Our Girl star told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine: “We don’t know where we’re going to settle. He loves it over there [America], but I don’t think we’ll ever live there [permanently]. I love it, too, but I’m a home person.”

Michelle said the idea of not being able to drive and see her family “scares me a little bit.”

The 31-year-old former Corrie star also admits they have a rule to see each other every three weeks, but that isn’t always straightforward, saying: “Yep, it’s hard. And for the next three months I won’t be able to go and see him at all because I’m contracted to work.”

Michelle is currently based in Manchester and will be there indefinitely while she films a new Sky1 comedy called Brassic.

Meanwhile, Mark, 31, has announced news he’s signed up to present The Bachelor which will apparently be filmed in South Africa – 14,000 miles away from his wife.

She continued: “Where’s home? I’m a bit all over the place, so at the minute I really don’t know,” before adding that she’s staying in an apartment in Manchester while Mark’s been in LA.

It follows Saturday’s news that Mark had landed a huge new job, helping contestants find love on new reality show The Bachelor.

Mark took to Instagram on Friday to announce he will be hosting the dating show, which he said will hopefully air in January.

The former TOWIE star said: “I can officially announce one of the reasons I’m coming home is because I’ll be hosting The Bachelor for Channel 5.

“I’m so excited, it’s such a huge brand here in America so I’m so excited to bring that to the UK.”

He continued: “I’ve seen The Bachelor, I’ve seen the girls, I’ve seen the contestants and the villa where it’s going to be shot. Everything looks spectacular.

“But what I’m most excited about is I get to spend some time with my wife and my family before I do that.”

Mark said during the show he’ll be coming back and forth to spend time with Michelle and his family because that “means so much” to him.

But according to The Sun, a source claims the show will force Mark and Michelle to spend even more time away from each other.

The source said: “Mark has already had an incredibly busy year presenting on Extra.

“Now he’s getting ready to jet off again to front another show which is an amazing opportunity – but it means more time out of the country and being apart from Michelle.

“He’s really excited to get stuck in with the show though and looking forward to lending his professional dating expertise.”

It’s not a relationship that would work for everyone, but it seems to work for them. And we’re SUPER excited to see The Bachelor when it comes around…
