Celebrity Big Brother’s latest twist has sent shock waves through the house and created tension with the housemates – just as they wanted!
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Daniel O’Reilly, Rachel Johnson, Ann Widdecombe, Andrew Brady and John Barnes had been nominated for tonight’s double eviction by the men of the house.
But the winners of yesterday’s Driving School challenge were able to give one of them a reprieve and then swap them for another housemate of their choosing.
Big Brother told the champions they could select themselves to be saved if they wanted – and Daniel AKA Dapper Laughs was happy to do just that.
The comic was given “the power of the house” along with his task partner Ann.
After some discussion, they revealed they would save him.
“Me and Ann agreed -thank you Ann – that she would save me,” he told the other celebrities.
He then left the dirty work of who should replace him to the politician.
Ann, 70, said: “I’m now going to make myself the most unpopular person in the house but the criterion that I have used throughout is, I only nominate people who I think have been unkind to others.

“Therefore, were she not immune, Ashley would have been right at the top of my hit list for her treatment of Jonny.
“Therefore, I regret, nobody is going to like this, because she laughed when others were in pain, I nominate Maggie.”
The other housemates were stunned to hear the former police officer was in the firing line.
But Maggie said she knew what Ann was referring to, as she had laughed when Andrew was “playing up” in the pregnancy task where the men were given electric shocks to gain insight into the pain of childbirth.
She said she hadn’t meant to be unkind to him at the time.
She told Ann she felt her decision was a little “vindictive”, as Ann left their conversation muting, “‘Oh, aren’t I popular. Aren’t I popular.”
She said the decision to chose Maggie was hers alone as she wanted Daniel to remain popular in the house.
Later in The Diary Room, Maggie admitted she was not happy with the “awkward” situation.
She said: “I am upset but not surprised. As an MP, she’s used to making unpopular decisions. There’s a very uncomfortable feeling in the house and I think that everyone’s picked up on that.
“We’ll have to get along and we’ll have to be civil with each other but there will be a little bit of awkwardness around Ann. I definitely feel like I can’t trust her.”
