A huge new storyline starts in EastEnders tonight and, with a later time slot for the landmark episode, viewers are going to have to make sure they don’t miss it!
EastEnders has moved their Monday night episode from the usual 8pm slot to a later time of 8.30pm, while Corrie has stuck its usual two half-hour episodes together to create an hour-long session between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
The move has been made so that the start of the soap’s hard-hitting knife crime storyline featuring Shakil Kazemi and Keegan Baker isn’t missed by soap fans.

Instead of EastEnders clashing with rival show Coronation Street, soap viewers will now be able to watch one after the other this evening.
Fans already know that EastEnders is proudly covering the topical subject of knife crime in a new storyline that will eventually see Shakil die from his injuries in Friday night’s episode.
Tonight’s episode will see the start of the storyline unfold as Keegan steals a bike – not knowing it is the property of a dangerous gang.
Shakil is shocked when he sees the gang have noticed the bike is missing and have already got a picture of Keegan stealing it on social media.
When Keegan refuses to return the bike in tonight’s episode, kind-hearted Shakil tries to cover for his best mate and goes to return the bike himself.
Little does he know, the dangerous gang are already in Walford.
As Keegan spots some of the gang members in the Square, he tries to confront them before getting stabbed.

With this storyline set to rock Albert Square to the core this week, viewers will have to make sure they tune in at the later time tonight to make sure they don’t miss a moment.
EastEnders airs these scenes tonight at 8.30pm on BBC One.
EastEnders continues this week on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm and Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
